I drew this last night for an exercise posted at the LJ of comic artist extraordinaire and Big Man Face himself, JFish. The song was “The Old Days” by Dr. Dog, and yes, I realize it’s pretty much the last thing one would normally think of when listening to that.
And it’s all thanks to embedded video in The Merry MARVEL Manner. Bless them, they’re now streaming Toei’s 1978 Spiderman series with English subs every Thursday on their site. Episode one is out now, and can be watched by clicking this link.
Professor Monster could give the Sinister Six a run for their money. Marvel should have considered a similar course of action when rebooting Spidey during that Brand New Day story. Change, Leopardon!

Since the update took a little longer than planned, here’s a Gas Baby double whammy for every boy and girl. Looks like Cancer Baby’s eye might have flown a little too close to the action, stay tuned to see what happens next!
As Keita Takahashi games are wont to do, Noby Noby Boy‘s frightening new world inspired some late night drawing. This one was powered by a Pilot Precise V5 and assorted Prismacolor markers on a Biggie pad. I recommend clicking on the image to trigger a chain of events that eventually make it larger.
